Children's Ministry

The goal for Children and Youth Ministry is to provide an extremely fun experience kids can't wait to be a part of, then teach them to fall in love with Jesus and how to follow him while they are there.

Luke 9:48 tells us that anyone who welcomes a little child on God's behalf welcomes God himself. The Father places such a high value on children! What an ideal opportunity this ministry provides us with! We can directly express our love to God simply by accepting and training up children.

Nursery - Ages 6 Month through 2 Years

Our goal for Nursery at New Day is to demonstrate our Heavenly Father’s love and protection by providing a caring and safe place for little ones while their parents participate in the service. The nursery is staffed by a trustworthy volunteer, who will gently play with and care for these little ones. They share a Bible story, songs, prayer, and snack each week. Parents can check on their child via the nursery cam for their convenience and peace of mind.

3 years through 1st Grade Class

This class takes place in the Safari Room so animals abound in this space. It is an fun, structured environment for the Pre-K to 1st grade children to get closer to Jesus, and have a blast doing it! With focused attention from their teacher, the kids learn spiritual truths through stories, crafts, games, and memory verses that will foster their spiritual development.

2nd throuh 5th grade class

This class is a structured, appealing environment for the 3rd through 5th grade children to experience Jesus, complete with a foosball table. They have loads of fun as they learn about digging into the Bible to find truths for themselves. This group will also enjoy exciting review games, memory verses, snack and free play.

We also provide activity ideas for families who choose to keep their children with them in service.
