March 15, 2020 to May 24, 2020:
What you can expect during Stay Home Order and Online Services Only:
Each weekend we will join together for our weekend services. Let’s make an effort to either tune in live or rewatch at a time that makes sense for our families so we can stay connected as a church family! Links above.
Nichols Sermons will be uploaded to our main New Day YouTube channel on Mondays, and will have closed captioning.
We have the opportunity to continue to be faithful to God with our finances. As you continue to receive income, you can give online or by check in the mail. Many ways to give outlined here. This money is used to maintain our facility, support missions, support church ministry, and pay our staff (many are working extra hours to make sure we can care for you in this time and learn all we can to communicate better without meeting physically). If you are not working or are having your income restricted during this time realize that we understand and God is able to provide for you and the Church. Many of us are being stretched in ways we never anticipated. We certainly want to cover you in prayer, so if you are facing financial needs communicate this by submitting a prayer request or contacting a pastor.
Daily at noon (Mon-Fri) on Pastor Mark’s personal Facebook page, join him for about 10 minutes of time to Connect with Jesus through prayer and worship. These will be shared afterwards in the New Day Michigan Friends & Family Group.
Pastor Anthony will be uploading videos on his personal YouTube account to check in with us, some of these will just be a few minutes and others will be a longer teaching time to connect midweek. These will be shared in the New Day Michigan Friends & Family Group.
The church voicemail will be checked frequently Monday through Friday, so please reach out if you have needs, both spiritual or physical: 269-343-2102. Or you may contact a pastor directly, or email all of the pastors at pastors@newdaycommunity.org, and one of them will respond.
Our intercessors are praying even more than normal (and that’s saying something!). If you have a request or update, you can always email prayer@newdaycommunity.org.
Your pastors are available to you, and working hard throughout the week to learn new ways to communicate and care for our congregations as we walk through this season of difficultly.
Weekly you can look for a new blog from our pastors. It will go live between Wednesday and Friday each week, click here to read.
Weekly emails will be sent on Friday evenings, with a summary of links to videos that were posted in the New Day Michigan Friends and Family Group. Other announcements and the weekly Pastor’s Blog will also be in those emails. If you’re not recieving these emails, sign up here or contact us to let us know they aren’t working.
