There’s no other book in the Bible quite like Hebrews. It contains deep theological teaching, meaningful encouragement, stern warnings, constant calls to faithful perseverance, and soaring descriptions of Jesus Christ, the great High Priest and exalted Son. It’s been called a sermon – delivered by a first-century pastor/preacher. He wanted his audience to hear and respond to this beautiful and challenging “word of exhortation” (Hebrews 13:22).
